Might go and start a "boo hoo I can't believe Glass Ankles Jack is actually gone" thread

Giroud played a huge Part in our fa cup victories. Let's See what we will win this Season without him. So better shutup you troll

Zero goals for the World Cup or Chelsea this season.

Yet his fans still maintain he's a great striker, there must be another explanation for this blind fanboyism, because its not for footballing reasons that I can tell you.

If Lacazette had those stats he'd be slaughtered for it, Laca has outscored Giroud on every front for two seasons now ever since he got off the plane and landed in England.

................ has just scored his first goal of the 2018 / 2019 season.

How could we have kept Lacazette or Auba over this guy? what were we thinking?

Unfortunately though he's still blank for Premier league goals, maybe 2019 will be kinder for him?

We still miss him as a plan B option. No doubt about that.

The game v Palace proved that and we are going to have many more like that this season.

At the end of his career and he still leads the line for the world champions. Says all you need to know about his ability.

Like Watford last season
Giroud came on at 1-0 up
Didn't even get a point in that one

Morata is easily better

I'm concerned tbh. I always maintained he is a top class striker but not ideal for our system. He could score 20+ goals a season for Conte if he hits the ground running.

Lmao

Giroud has never scored 20 league goals for us.

All of our main strikers in the past 25 years have.

Auba on course to do so as well

Even Laca on course to get at least 15, which Giroud used to be lauded for.

We had Giroud ffs

He left because we wanted him out, you can't slag him for leaving and not doing great when it was our choice.

Not like a Song or Hleb going to Barca for the ££ and flopping.
