Agree with all that except "holds the ball well", that was his biggest flaw here really, and inconsistent link up play.

The game showed the exact reason why Giroud keeps so many top strikers out of the French national team.

His link up play is 2nd to none. Such an intelligent footballer.

His link up play is his best attribute.

I would highly disagree, or I guess all his other attributes are just shit then.

:rofll:

Thought he was an Arsenal man, even Fabregas never celebrated against us.

Clowned.

We kept him up front for 5 fkin years, guy went 14 games without scoring which is the sort of BS people forget which I don't, he also barely scored a goal last season and this season all his goals (14 in a season) have mainly been Europa goals .

14 goals isn't terrible but its far from elite and far from what we need as a striker, Auba has about 30 goals ffs and he's sharing the goals with Laca up front.

Our fans start celebrating every time Giroud scores even though he's worse than both Auba and Laca.

"Underrated" fk off.

He's average and he was average when he was here.

It's disrespectful from a former Arsenal player that some fans still cheer on. Hopefully our fans rethink cheering and singing him on the next time he arrives at the Emirates.

Better than our fans' usual get up of booing ex players like small time plebs.

Giroud helped us win 3 FA Cups and shouldered the CF job by himself for years all the while taking a lot of criticism because he was our no.1 when he should've been our no.2, but that's Wenger's fault not his.

He carried a heavy load.

He also only joined Chelsea because he wanted to maximize his chances of making the 2018 WC.

He deserves to have his name sung.

Giroud leaves Arsenal and wins the World Cup and EL.
Sanchez leaves Arsenal and scores three goals in 30 appearances.
