He's having a great career .......... and mainly from the bench or not contributing (France).

I mean how do you go being the main starting striker for a entire competition and not register a single goal ffs? Jorginho on the other hand is working his socks off for CL and Euro trophies.

Whoever Giroud's agent is I want him in my life.

I'll sit on a bench for thousands of pounds per week and win trophies without even putting my boots on .......... what a life this man has.

We need to create relationships with clubs the way Chelsea have. They've taken Torres, Morata, Bakayoko, Tomori and now Giroud.

World cup winner, champions league winner, multiple FA cup winner. Second highest goal scorer for France. Let the trophies do the talking.

50 years from now, people who have never seen him play but look at his career will think he's one of the greatest ever.

The ones who have seen him know he's garbage

90 Premier League goals and 35 assists.
144 goals during his Premier League career.
46 goals for France
I'd say he's put his boots on a fair few times.

He's not amongst the very best strikers during his time, but he's been a good striker through his career.

He's been doing a bunch of interviews to promote his biography. In this interview, he pretty much admits what we all knew: he got far more time at Arsenal than what other top clubs would have offered.

He was significantly at fault for our disastrous end to the 2015/16 season when we could have won the league. Mostly the only consistently fit striker he was f***ing awful. Failed to score in 15 consecutive games.

Giroud is now just three goals away from catching Henry at the top of Frances goal scorers list. 11 fewer games than Henry.

Henry debuted for France at 20. Giroud at 25. It’s remarked what a player with such limited skill and opportunity has achieved through dint of hard work and determination.

His opportunities were NOT limited!

He has admitted that Arsenal gave him far more game time than what other comparable clubs would have.

He basically has his NT place by default because Benzema was exiled for 5 years. And if he didn't have Mbappe and Griezemann creating a million chances for him, one can only wonder what his record would be.

I will say that Giroud matured after leaving Arsenal, and learned to adjust to a different role where goals are secondary. For a £1m transfer, he's done well at Milan, that can't be denied.

Lots of holes in your argument.
1. Henry had a better French team working with him than Giroud has had.
2. France does better with Giroud than Benzema leading the line.
3. Giroud is creating for Mbappe and Griezmann, not the other way around.

No harm admitting the man has done very well with his limited skill set.
