How he's missed.

Sell Auba/Laca and bring this beast back.

Even though you’re being sarcastic he’s certainly a better option than Willian outwide

His commitment/ hard work / talent etc are all ultimately irrelevant because of how little football he actually ends up playing. I think he was injured for 60% of the 5 years he spent at Arsenal. That goes up to 90% for Watford last year.

The uncoordinated Welbeck strikes again.

Swing and a miss right in front of the goal.

And then his hand ball denies his teammate a goal.

One of the transfer mistakes Emery made by letting Danny go, he was a quality squad player who always gave 100%, you lot didn’t appreciate him, I bet now you do after seeing Willian stink it up for 95% of the season on nearly triple what welbeck used to earn.

If Willian is used as the bar to determine previous players quality, then we may as well say every player we have sold is a mistake.
Welbeck had some very good elements to his game, especially his work rate, but he was too injury prone.

I agree, he was a relatively cheap squad player who would be considered a good quality backup. Injuries his main downside and why he was let go.

I'd rather have him than Willian but that's like asking if i'd rather eat shit or just be happy with it slapped in my face, anything is better.

No manager is going to look at this and be like 'sign him up'. Ramsey had injury problems too, but Welbeck was on another level.
