He passed the ball 10+ yards behind the half way line on Chelsea side but found it a good idea to run all that way to celebrate with Costa and Co. Compared to Lampard a couple of weeks back he pretty much shitted all over us. Could have easily to show our fans the respect he says he has for us by celebrating where he was. Prob just me being over sensitive.

Apparently he came and applauded the away support afterwards if that's worth anything. The pass for the goal was more devastating than anything else that happened for me.

It was f***ing perfection.

He was getting a bit of shit through the game wasn't he? Lampard wasn't and they were singing his name and had his old flags out. Same as with Ade, he was getting shit all game so celebrated like he did (maybe over the top but it was funny as f**k not being on the receiving end - I'm sure people would agree if it didn't happen to them).

Cesc was quite respectable after the game but I don't think he knows the full story of what Arsenal fans think cause he said something along the lines of 'I know they all still love me'. He was saying how he loves Arsenal though and they made him the player he is. Until that I never gave the respect to Arsenal for him, I always gave it to Barca before going to Arsenal.

Alot of this just feels like sour grapes.

The best way to "vent" at the guy, and his team, is to beat them. The fact we managed to make the game as tight as we did with sub-standard tactics says to me that if we'd been setup the right way to begin with we may very well have come away with something.

10 shots without testing the goalkeeper is also not good enough.
Go Cannons!!

Anybody else slightly concerned about them going undefeated this season?

They'll drop points and probably away against lower opposition, they always do.

I hope so.

It really does look like they'll run away with the league by Christmas. I can't see them collapsing like they did in 2010/11 under Ancelotti.

I'm just worried where our team will be come christmas..
Hypothetical of course but if wenger & moureen reversed roles I'm fairly sure we'd be 9 points ahead of them right now.

Always concerned whenever a team hasn't lost by now.

They'll win the title but they can't go undefeated ffs

who cares if chelsea do go unbeaten we will always be the first to do it,
who remembers the 2nd bloke up everest or the 2nd to break the 4 minute mile?
records are made to be broken and always are in the end

Preston did it first and also unbeaten in the FA Cup that year. One of their official nicknames is 'The invincibles'

was waiting for someone to jump in with this piece of obviousness
not counting the old days when all you had to do to win the league was play 10 games against old etonians and the wanderers etc
just the modern 38 games plus era not the black and white era that everyone disregards

So in 100 years when we're playing 50 games a league season due to making sponsors happy, we will disregard Arsenal as well? It wasn't 10 games either and travelling away was a lot harder then when travelling on horse back (yes, I know they didn't. Or maybe they did, who knows  ).
