If the players would have been so world class at this stage.. of course all other top managers failed then if they at least didn't try to buy them.
Take KdB for example he was a bargain for f***ing Wolfsburg. Guardiola watched him week in week out in the Bundesliga and could have bought him for Bayern to accomplish his mission to win the CL. But he didn't and Fraudiola failed with his mission to win the CL with Bayern.
