At Chelsea he was sacked after a loss against Leicester they won the title that season.
It's nearly unavoidable to become Liverpools year now.

Pep never took a billion pound team, spent £500m on new players including 2 £100m players and turned them into mid table contenders

The first claim is so wrong you should be ashamed of yourself they had there lowest losses in years under Mourinho and were only exceeded by Udinese in terms of net sales.

Neither did Mourinho.

The team he inherited was nearly completely trash bar DDG. Let's make it easy name me five players you would have wanted as Arsenal starters from the 2016-17 United team. He also had to get rid of crocks like Schweinsteiger and Rooney. Not claiming he did an awesome job at United but comparing the United trash team he got with the team Pep inherited at City while still spending more as United to this day is a joke.

I'd tell my thoughts but praising Pep gets you banned here for some reason

I'd have had De Gea, Bailly and Smalling over Calamity Kos, I'd have Rojo too as a squad option, we had zero cover then

I'd have Mata in midfield for sure, I'd take Herrera over Ramsey, I'd have loved Martial or Rashford over that 10 million pound lamppost we had upfront.

Probably would have Fellaini instead of Le Coq too
