Lol. He needs to sort this out. We don't have enough money for new back ups for every positions while we still badly need some main players.
Yes. Ferguson won many trophies with:

Phil Neville
Darren Fletcher
John O'Shea
Quentein Fortune
Ji-Sung Park

And a few others i forgot.

Neville, Fletcher and O'Shea stand out because none were world beaters like AMN but all especially O'Shea played in almost every position Fergie wanted and their versatility is what makes a perfect squad player and with AMN we have that.

So for Arteta has shown himself to be so narcassitic and self serving to his methods he has now experienced the failure when we f**k up at the business end.

James Milner plays anywhere Klopp wants him.
There is an argument to say why not play him CM though. Given a run of games, he could be better than Elneny or even Xhaka
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

He is done at Arsenal; other academy boys will be looking to step up.
Had his chances, didn't do enough, just like Iwobi, Ox, etc.

Hopefully he understands now that his future (or whats left of it) is at right back. He demonstrated he could play the position very well if he just bought in. Hell, he got a call up playing right back and every single manager he's had including Wenger, Emery, Arteta, and Mourinho said he's not a CM. When will he get the message? Just embrace what you're good at lad.

I don't agree with that, he is a CM first and foremost. Just because he can do a job and fits in at RB doesn't mean he isn't a CM by nature. He came through playing CM, he has a CM's instinct, that doesn't just go away.

Most managers played Walcott for the overwhelming part of his career as a winger, he wasn't a winger though.

Difference is - they all got played in their preferred positions, AMN mostly didn't.

I am not saying AMN is an Arsenal quality anything, but he is better than Xhaka and he is a better RB than Cedric and Bellerin.

I hear you but his best performances routinely came at RB and I feel his skills are better suited for that role as pretty much every manager has come to the same conclusion.

Keep him and save £30m on Zinchenko.

Sign a dedicated CM and let AMN provide cover across RB / LB and CM

He will get plenty of game time now we're back in Europe.

I agree, his best performances for us have come at RB - and at LB in the Cup final I believe !! You get no argument from me on that.

I'd be underwhelmed if Zincehnko is the only CM we bring in.

Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest are targeting Arsenal's England midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles, 24, who was on loan with Roma last season. (Mirror)

Just seen this.

This idiot has literally ruined his career at top level football with this indecisive position bollocks.

Good luck to him, he'll need it.

Because of the World Cup they are cramming 5 months worth of PL football into 3.5 months. This doesn’t even include UCL/UEL games.

Keep him.
