I'd like him to show his ability in La Liga and comeback to push on, good technical player.. has a real blend of English and Spainish footballing styles that proved very effective even against less technical opposition in the Championship. He has produced EVERYWHERE and has seemingly continued that with 2 goals in the first 15 minutes for his new club.

This will be his fourth year on loan now and he has yet to appear for arsenal, if Wenger actually believed in this guy he'd have stayed in the squad, he'll be moved on at the end of his loan.

The new Wellington Silva.

The guy was with us for ages and absolutely garbage.

Is he really "absolutely garbage" though? The volley he scored from 25 yards that came over his shoulder last season would say otherwise.

He and his time with us has been nothing like our experience with Wellington Silva, Jon has actually played for Arsenal youth team.

Whether he makes it or not and I do believe he won't, he's more than an average baller.

Most of our players seem to crash & burn but this kid was mighty impressive.
Makes you wonder if he hadn't had all those injury problems whether he'd have been pushing for the 1st team already.

Wilshere had a great spell at Bolton.

Bellerin at Watford was our last good loan spell which worked out well for us and Coquelin at Charlton.

I don't think Bellerin did anything special at Watford, he wasn't even a regular starter.

Remember having the Bellerin at Watford debate with the legendary S&W. How he is missed.

I won the debate

Coq at Charlton was appalling as well

That doesn't mean he played bad? I saw his stats even before he was recalled and was surprised how well he was doing. Exact same stuff for them as he was doing when he came back here and ripped it up.

Prior to that he'd been having crappy loans in Germany and being played in all sorts of positions.
