Martinez: I am in love with this club, I'm so grateful to the Arsenal family for giving me the opportunity to be here over a decade & I wish Arsenal the best of luck, I hope they get back into the Champions League & win many more trophies because the Arsenal fanbase deserves that, the club as well. I just want to say to the fans that they should trust the process, they are doing a really good work with Mikel and his staff and I wish them all the best.

mixed feelings about this one

alot of money for a 2nd goalie. Though the way he conducted himself last season was terrific. I have a feeling this one will bite us up the ass.
Hope he returns one day, that is, if he advances to a worldclass goalie

We should not have sold him. Unmatched passion for the club which is a rarity these days. Not to mention that he’s one of the few of the players who have witnessed most of our transition, he would have been a good mature spirit to have around. It’s a sad day when we must look for justification in economics

Without Kroenke dipping in his pocket we need to make tough financial decisions to improve our team

What would you rather have (given Leno has no interest from clubs), 2 good keepers or £20m for a 28 year old keeper who made like 1 league appearance before last season which we would’ve got no more than £2m for 12 months ago which can fund a top class midfielder?

Absolute no brainer and we’ll have zero regrets

Martinez, one of the players who really grew on me the last few months. I hope he achieves all his dreams, that he will be Argentinas number one in the WC 2022 and that he'll continue his great form (except against us lol)

Not as good as leno so selling him for that much was the right thing to do. We all love him for what he's done after lockdown and wish him all the best unless it's against us or for Argentina.

£20m is a really good price. Especially in the current market climate and considering our need to raise funds.

Good all round. We get decent money and he gets a break.

Good luck to him.
