It looks good on paper and would beat the Norwich's of the world but still be shit at the back and have a terrible balance in the middle. Meanwhile Chelsea is near perfect barring Cahill and the RW.

agree, i just feel that cahill is good enough, the problem that chelsea is going to have next season is giving zouma the much needed gametime, It is going to be Terry last season and they need a smooth transition, they are going to lose the heart of the team. Zouma looks adequate but he needs much more gametime next season.
RW they cant go for a Naturally offensive footballer, they need someone like the Ox, lets see what they do.

If they sign Pogba, it'd mean Pogba plays with 'Dinho, with Toure moving further up or rotating with Pogba. City usually get the balance right. They're attack-minded, but Mancini ensured during his run that defence and attack are in semblance to one another. Their core is still made up of Mancini's men.

The difference between City's title win and Chelsea's is the style in which they've won. City blew defences away during their first title-winning season. In their second, they did the same to a lesser degree. Chelsea tried to do something similar, but even with their attacking football earlier last season, they weren't nearly as entertaining to watch as City were/are. I rarely get bored watching City play.

And, City won't be like Arsenal in 10/11 where we were great in midfield and attack, but poor at the back.

Sandro: QPR's Brazilian midfielder did not have work permit

QPR's Brazilian midfielder Sandro did not have a work permit last season although the club deny he has been deported.

The 26-year-old - reportedly signed for £10m - did not have the necessary paperwork, the Sun newspaper revealed.

A QPR statement said: "The club is in dialogue with the Home Office in a bid to resolve the matter."

Rangers said Sandro is on holiday in Brazil and, contrary to the report, had not been told to leave the UK.

He tweeted: "Hope everything will be sorted soon. Love England too much."

A Home Office investigation revealed QPR midfielder Sandro did not have a work permit and it has suspended Rangers' sponsor licence, which allows clubs to apply for visas for players from non-EU countries.

Without the licence Rangers can still sign players from non-EU countries but they cannot play until the suspension is lifted. Sandro cannot play until he has a working visa.
Rangers, Sandro & the Home Office

QPR have 20 working days from 11 June to submit written representations in response to the suspension of their sponsor licence

Once any representations are received, the Home Office has a further 20 working days to make a decision on the licence

It is understood the visa issue was an oversight on QPR's part, following Sandro's transfer from Spurs, rather than any deliberate attempt to flout the rules.

There are not thought to have been any work permit issues relating to his time at Tottenham

A Home Office spokesperson said: "Sports clubs that benefit from the immigration system must ensure they have robust compliance systems in place or risk losing their privilege to sponsor players and workers.

"We continually monitor all sponsors on the register and we will take action where we find evidence that compliance duties are not being fulfilled."

Last month, QPR said they were told of an issue with his UK residency visa and were advised not to select Sandro for their Premier League game at Manchester City.

Sandro, who scored once in 17 appearances for the west London side last season, missed the match at Etihad Stadium which saw Rangers relegated after a 6-0 defeat, and he did not play in their final two games.

An Olympic silver medallist with Brazil at the London 2012 Olympics, he joined Rangers from Tottenham in September 2014, having spent more than four years at White Hart Lane.

He linked up again at Loftus Road with then Rangers manager Harry Redknapp, who signed him for Spurs from Internacional.

Fixture lists will be released today.

Normally I hope we go away to a big side early on but seeing as Sanchez won't be ready for the beginning of the season I'm hoping we avoid our title rivals.

Stamford Bridge as early as possible. Even the start of the season will be fine. Just park the bus there, come with a 0-0.

Ideally, we'd hope that the second half of the season has only 1 or maximum 2 big away games left (hopefully, Etihad and Anfield). Imagine the scenes if it's us against Chelsea on the final day of the season!

1st week = Stamford Bridge
2nd week = The Lane
3rd week = filler
4th week = Old Trafford

Owhell, ze fixtures, our start was quiete nout up to ze mark.

Was just about to say. If he comes out of those 7 games with some credibility left he's done well.

It's ridiculously hard in fairness! This is their first 7 away games:

Stoke
Arsenal
Man Utd
Everton
Spurs
Chelsea
Man City

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Brendan Rodgers is an outstanding manager. He will ace those seven games in a jiffy. Wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool were top of the pile after those seven games.

We knew that. That season with Suarez at the helm, Liverpool will never find a player like that again and their squad will never ever be as it was.

They've already lost Gerrard.

Sterling and Coutinho to both leave within 12 months. Sturridge will stay but he'll have been so injured that no club will even look at him.

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

Anything else than 15 points after the first 5 matches should be a disappointment for Arsenal tbh. Not that I would mind, but it's as easy as it gets.
