Negrado breaks metetarsal, out for 2 to 3 months.

Emre Can limps off injured 20 minutes into debut.

The injury Gods are sharing the wealth. All hail the injury Gods.

Aguero won't be 100% for the start of the season. Negredo is out until October. Plus, City players have just won the League, so I can't see them as hungry this season.

The major threat is Chelsea. City will blast opponents due to their flair and attacking power, but Chelsea will weasel their way as always. I can see City finishing 3rd this season.

Also, United is the dark horse. Strange saying that. They'll spend and van Gaal is a tactical master.

We could capitalize on the tactical battle between Mou and van Gaal though.

Voted for The Arsenal but its dependent on us signing a top quality DM and backup at centre half.

Really think we could have won it last season only for injuries and this year I think AW will give Ozil and Giroud a breather.
Expect Pool not to hit the heights they did last season and expect Manure to be stronger with Van Gaal.

Sanchez is going to be fantastic for us and hopefully will bring the best out of Ozil and Wally should learn from him.

Chelsea should win the league comfortably. They dont have a single real weakness except maybe Terry and hes no worse than Mertesacker and they have the best manager.

City and Pellegrini wont have the determination to retain the league. Im disocunting them completely. Toure wont have as good a season and they fluked the title just like they did the first time but will have enough for 2nd/3rd

Liverpool are being underestimated again. I think they've bought very well given their options and missing out on Sanchez. They bolstered their squad and sakho+lovren is potentially an excellent partnership. They wont miss suarez nearly as much as people think, in the league anyway. They have a philisophy in place that doesnt live or die with one player. Theyre not Totenham with Bale

Man United will be helped a lot by not being in europe as they have a huge squad already and now the second best manager in the league. They're good for 75-80 points as things stand now and if they get a quality cm they have enough for a title challenge. Jones+Evans could very good under van gaal seeing what he did with Holland at the world cup.

Us, as long as Giroud is our centre forward and Arteta/Flamini is next to Ramsey were not winning the league.
Mertesacker is another issue I think we should be buying a young cm to challenge him. Wenger is also an issue as long as we have several weaknesses in the team hes not good enough to make up for them. I think hes the weakest manager out of the top five now. So as long as the way we play is not changed and giroud+Arteta+Mertesacker is our spine we wont win the league. If we get a quality cm we can put up a respectable challenge. If both giroud and arteta are starters there's a good chance we drop out of the top 4 even with sanchez and ramsey and walcott staying fit

Same as with us and Park, except we knew he could get called up and planned for it. And then South Korea went and postponed it for him.

I reckon United will surprise everyone and win it. Anyone hear Woodward's comments the last day? They mean serious business, only the league to focus on too.

Spurs will do well too.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

f**k em. I hope they over extend, win f**k all and don't get 4th and step a bit closer to bankruptcy.

After signing £750m kit deals? No chance, I'm afraid. They're here to stay.

Almost impossible for United to fall from being a top club imo. Most valuable football team in the world now aren't they? When you compare that deal to the other top clubs. Madrid are on 32 million a year, we're on 30 etc. With them at 75 it's well over double the rest.

Madrid and everyone else didn't sell their merchandising rights. They still retain that whereas United don't. And it's not just for the shirts btw.

Well I do have the feeling that without ferguson, they are slipping back to the mid-table club they were in the 80s before he took over. They'll just be slightly richer now than back then.
