How'd that work out?

Didn't get what we needed in the summer so not well at all and we are suffering for it. Who didn't see that coming?

First of all, thanks to Chambers for his service. Could have been a contender if not for that ACL injury.

With that said:

Using "saved wages" as a proxy for transfer fees is ridiculous. By that metric we made £20m from binning Willian.

Edu must be panicking as the list of players leaving for nothing grows ever longer. Must have advised press contacts to stop using the term "free transfer".

We’ve only got one back up CB now for the rest of the season

Absolutely ludicrous sum. He's worth a lot more than that.

I think he might surprise some people with regular game time.

Yep and not sure what the deal is with Cedric but White was playing RB for Tomiyasu's injury.

"It's a massive club and they're in a great moment," said Chambers.

"It's a very exciting place to be and everyone can see that from the outside. Things are happening here and it's definitely moving in the right direction.

"For me, it was a no-brainer to join a great club. It was the right thing for me to do."

Chambers added: "The manager did very well at Rangers. He's a young, exciting manager and I can't wait to work with him."

He doesn't see us as a massive club or in a great moment.

He can clearly see how we are from the outside. We aren't exciting. Nothing is happening here. Certainly not going in the right direction.

No one sees us as great anymore hence he left us and others aren't joining.

Arteta is younger than Gerrard but Chambers doesn't think him exciting to work with at all and doesn't want to work with him.

This is how players see our manager and club

What we going to do if we get cb injurys or suspensions?

We got White, Holding, Gabriel and noone else, dont say Rekik either.

Tomiyasu and Tierney have a combined 100+ appearances as CB at senior level. With only one competition to focus on between now and the summer, we should be fine numbers-wise.

People talk about doing a great job of getting rid of deadwood but most of them went for free near the end of their contracts, not much effort required to shift players for free.

The amount of money we’ve outlayed or lost since Arteta arrived is ridiculous.
