After a row with his girlfriend ( terminal) my brother in law has joined us from Majorca
He had a phone call yesterday ( he is an electrician ) saying spurs are paying 360 per day to get the work done

I am with his sister( my lady) her daughter, mum, step dad( his 70 th birthday the reason we are here)
His other sister husband and 3 kids
He stormed out
Got a cab ferry cab and now joined us
He was f***ked at first thinking what have I done
But after sleep
Many cold drinks etc
He now believes it the best decision he ever made
She begrudged him taking his own kids away
Her calling his oldest a diva was the final straw on something that was rocky anyway
God ! I am a f***ing agony aunt
My kids are all in their twentys
Don't expect them on holiday with us till the grandchildren arrive
Watching games in a bar called Jimmy hills
Consolation was had on Sunday by drinking gin and tonic from a fishbowl
Ave it!

This nutty holiday took another turn last night
The girls took the kids home
We stayed on for a couple of sensible drinks
Unfortunately my brother in law( not the one who left Majorca ) who is a lovely bloke great dad etc but has an excessive nature ( I'm more of a dabbler) got into some sort of altercation coming back from the toilet.
I tried to act as peacemaker but got a clump for my troubles
Could have been really nasty with glass and bottles about and abayng mob who only saw 2 English blokes being lairy
I have a lovely black eye for my troubles
He took a bit of a pasting but come out of it with a swollen hand
f**k me
I come to lay on a sunbed
Eat drink and do f**k all and end up in a soap opera
Might go somewhere a little less troublesome next year
Like helmond province!

I heard now that there’s an issue with the entranceway that team coaches will use. Apparently it’s too low, and they’re struggling to find a solution as there is important infrastructure above it.

I bet when the architect designed the entrance way, they didn't account for the mechanical and electrical pipes/ducting.

This is golden.

Everything is cast now, so the only way to resolve is to drop the entrance floor lower but that depends on what's underneath. Also, will cost a shit ton of money for an architecural / structural viewpoint.

Imagine teams having to get out on the roadside outside the stadium then walk through the fans and other randoms to get in through the stadium.

That means extra security costs or they lose a good chunk of parking revenue having to create a safe outside space for teams to get off their buses. All because of an architectural f**k up.

I wish nothing but misery in their new shithole.
