Kulusevski was Conte's pick back on January 10th .... will be pissed if after all the media BS Spurs actually get their man. Swedish players far more suited to the EPL than soft southern Europeans. Only 21 so could be a huge flop ... but?

Kulusevski looks bang average and a downgrade on Son, Bergwijn and Moura.
He's young and might improve but as of now he doesn't look good.

We're not trying to bring in a xhaka replacement so it wouldn't have mattered.

With that said, Spurs' recruitment has been terrible under new DOF so hopefully that continues.

Remains to be seen whether Bentacour actually improves them if he goes there.
Heard it all before with spud signings... when they signed Capoue and Ndombele we heard it all too. Same with Emerson Royal. None of them were any good - they just represented a huge waste of money over what they already had.
It's important to only buy players that will significantly improve the team and Spurs don't seem able to do that.
It's much better to sign no one than blow money on players that don't significantly improve the squad - unless there is a burning issue in the squad (like we have at striker)

That was my point, really.

I don't see their problems as being in a wide forward area and in CM, sure they have had problems, but is this new guy any better than Ndombele who was supposed to be so good.

It's different for us because we actually NEED players as we have precisely NO centre forwards at the end of the year (assuming Auba goes too) and the 2 we will have through the end of the season (Laca and Nketiah) could well be just coasting to a pay day free transfer.
