Got to love people's ignorance to good payers in lower divisions because they are a fan of a top team.

It's not that, just that pretty much every League mentioned in everyone's team maybe bar the Greek one is better than the Championship. Got to love people's ignorance of foreign lesser leagues just because they haven't heard anything about it ;).

Does it matter if the whole league is stronger? That's not really the point is it?

There is a reason a championship player will be at United in the summer. There is a reason a championship player (possibly 2) will be at City in the summer..

There is a reason championship players will be at United and City, not any other league's top club. The others might looked at them but it doesn't really change anything. You don't see often a youngster moving from 2nd tier league to Real, Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus etc. Only in England and British players. And they're overpaid and overrated as hell for rightnow.

The only top tier League that is on the same level as the Championship that those mentioned is probably the Ukranian, Turkish & Greek first divisions. Neymar, Dede, Oscar, Paulinho etc are going/gone to elite teams in Europe, does it mean that the Brasileiro is better than divisions such as Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga? Of course not. Every League has standout players, but the overall quality in the Brasileiro is much better than the Championship for an example.

I don't know but I might have just completely gone over the point hahaha. I wouldn't put a 2nd tier player in any fantasy team, they've not been tested against the best and most probably haven't even played senior international football often. I'd wait and see what Zaha does for United before putting him in a team with Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Goetze etc.

Plays for Ajax and has played for the Dutch National teams a few times. Been linked with Arsenal along with Daryl Janmaat to replace Sagna.
