29 is old football wise now, especially for someone who’s gonna play out wide. Only a few exceptions like Robben & Ribz

To get no resale value for him on 200k p/w at his age isn’t great. He can do a job and I really like him but we need more than just doing a job given our finances and how much he’s on

Just my 2 cents but I do rate him, pure silks on the ball

Cesc won titles but is a shadow of the player he was at Arsenal.
Van persie had one great season and then fell off the earth.
Ashley is the only one that thrived individually.

Who gives a shit about resale value?

All about if he can do the job and he can

Told you guys that Alexis will miss Ozil.

He had good chemistry and understanding with Ozil .

At United he just looks lost and as Man U fans will tell you, has been a huge disappointment.

He’ll get a good rest this summer and be back to his best next season. Mou just needs to figure out how to combine him with Lukaku and Pogba. Sanchez needs to be the focal point even if he’s not in the center. Thats a problem when you have more than one peacock in your playing 11.

It won't be that easy. They compeltely broke their wage structure to sign him and I'm pretty sure that has pissed off more than a few in the dressing room.

Plus, Utd did not need a LW when they had Rashford and Martial playing there. But now Alexis starts every game and Martial will be sold in the summer. Rashford has been awful when played as a CF but that's the only role he has now.

Finally, Alexis looks trapped playing in Mourinho's formation. At Arsenal he had freedom to roam and linked up very well with Ozil. He doesn't have that at all at Utd.

I think you could play Sanchez off Lukaku almost as a second striker with more freedom to roam. Remember he’s not just a good goal scorer but a very creative player. The Bergkamp position so to speak.

I still don't understand why Mourinho bought him. Sanchez has a lot of qualities, but defensive awareness is not one of them. Mourinho really don't like his players to gamble and he must know how many turnovers Sanchez has made while playing for us.

Sanchez has got his big final payday.

Why should he knock himself out playing in a negative, boring system?
