He's clearly playing at 50% and yet he's still by far the best attacking player on the pitch ..... if only we had a manager who could get 100% out of him he'd top even last season's numbers .... let's see what Pep does with him ....

Keep hoping. Not happening.

You do realize if Alexis and Ozil walk, we would have already lost more than $100m, because if they had been sold at right time, we would have collected massive funds in the overinflated market for both of them.

If they walk for free, we basically lost all that money.

Then you figure in the cost of replacing quality players like that in today's overinflated market. We are talking about another 100m+.

Good luck with that.

We are talking Wenger here.

Whether one or both leave, we will be buying one quality player this summer and consider that lucky.

There is a reason Wenger is playing Welbeck and Iwobi.

Welcome to the new mid table Arsenal.

Iwobi is more than good enough to replace Sanchez

Really makes sense to sell in Jan,he's giving us very very little and we have even less chance than that of competing with City. There's even less chance than that of him staying in the summer.

We can win Europa and LC without him, may cost us the FA Cup but would still back us to come top 4 with a signing of Lemar/Bailey.

30m would be great business.

You say he's giving us little ........... but the reality is even when he's not playing well he's scoring vital goals (Liverpool) or providing assists (Southampton) which are meaning we're not losing games.

I'm all up for selling him because he's leaving and we need to move on and build with committed players, but lets get one thing clear ..............

WE CANNOT sell Sanchez if we don't have an immediate replacement!

If we have to go the rest of the year with Welbeck we ain't winning sh*t and the only thing that 30m will do is line Stan's pockets.

To replace Sanchez would require a Kane, Aguero or Salah signing .... and that ain't happening .... unless we can find a hidden gem our attacking options will be massively diminished once Alexis goes .... and if Ozil goes as well then our creativity will go with him .... worrying times .....

Another case of a player's reputation and not his actually performances or current form doing the bidding. A player who carried us last season is a passenger these days. So he should get a pass just because of ''what he is capable of'' completely ignoring his inept journeyman kinda performances in the recent past. I have been a huge supporter of Sanchez when he was giving his all but i simply cannot watch a player giving zero fecks to the club and disrupting our build up by giving away possession like a child. The club is bigger than any individual player, no matter how big his profile may be.

I see a lot of condescending posts about players who are actually working hard and putting in a shift for the team while Sanchez is made made to appear like bigger than the club despite showing scant respect or commitment to the club. Bigger players with far bigger contributions have left the club and the club has survived. A petulant Sanchez throwing hissy fits is being made to look like a player without him we will implode as a club.
