Alexis has been 240p this season.

We we're expecting at least 1080p or better.

The guy saw this on his television and later recorded it with his Nokia N90.

Nokia N90 has 240p quality, not 144p

't was a joke.

It's not even physically possible to shoot a 16:9 aspect ratio video with a camera that records in a totally different aspect ratio of 13:11.

144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2k, 4k are all 16:9 ratio resolutions.

Nokia N90 shoots in this rare and outdated 13:11 ratio with its 352x416 pixels camera.

When uploaded, there would be a black border on the left and right side as the ratio of the video file wouldn't match the ratio of the web player.

In other words, you couldn't be more wrong. :frogwink:

Only left and right, but still 240p :dontknow:

That's because YouTube's web player has a fixed aspect ratio of 16:9.

Key word: fixed

YouTube's player includes these black borders, even though they are not part of the original video file. Cameras don't shoot black borders.

This means if a raw video file with a different aspect ratio is uploaded, the player adds black borders on each side in order to turn it into what is called a false 16:9 video.

If you were to play the raw video file above in windowed mode of any media player on your computer, you wouldn't see any borders as you're viewing it in its original, true 13:11 aspect ratio.

Hope you'll understand now.

wasn't expecting this when i opened the thread but thanks i learnt something new

He may have got an assist courtesy excellent finish from Giroud but his demeanor, attitude, passing and overall play was pretty average today.

Agreed, he was playing an exhibition game again, as if he's on trial here.

Issue is that he's still better than any other option we have. Not our biggest issue, which continues to be a RB who's shit, supposedly elite defenders like Kos being morons, and a midfield that can't create anything but shit

I thought he was poor today. He seems to be developing an annoying habit of trying to dribble across the face of the box and losing the ball.

Would like to know how many times he lost possession today.

Wenger played this terribly, all summer he says his staying then last day gets his hopes up, he shouldn't down tools with the money he is being paid but on a man management level wenger had a shocker, no surprise he has no interest atm.

Bar his pass to Giroud for the goal, he was terrible.

He keeps losing possession on bad decisions and poor passing.

That's the thing.

Don't know how anyone would want Alexis to leave when we have—hold your breath—Ramsey, Xhaka, and Welbeck as legit players at Arsenal.
