There's nothing wrong with him. If he doesn't play at all this week, then something's up and I think he's off.

Alexis Sanchez handed Arsenal a double boost by taking part in full training today - and then hitting the gym for an extra workout.

Wenger already ruled him out of the Stoke game. Still would be nice to give him 20 minutes of the game as this return came earlier than expected. Can't wait to see the Laca - Ozil - Alexis trio playing together

So do I .... BUT .... he's now playing for himself, what that means is he will want to show how good he is (not that City/Chelski/PSG don't know this already) however come January he will be able to sign for a new club, he won't leave until the summer but he will have signed pre-contract terms ... what that means is that from January on all he will be concerned about is not getting injured ... we can't blame him, that's just the reality of the situation Wonger has created ....

Can't sign a pre contract with a premier league team until 2 months before his contract ends

Foreign clubs can negotiate and agree terms with him in january

Alexis Sanchez is the player that will shatter Arsenal's status as a big club once and for all. That may sound overly dramatic, but to me it does seem like our future is now riding on the decision of one player. The course of our future will be set in the next few months.

We've lost our best players (Fabregas, van Persie, Nasri, Song, Adebayor, etc.) in the past, but we've always been able to use the stadium move as an excuse. The reason have been purely financial - or so Wenger has spinned it. Now that the reason for losing our players isn't financial, it will only come down to the status of the club.

The elite clubs (United, City, Chelsea) can hold on to their best players - whereas smaller clubs (Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs) cannot. Before you jump in and say that we can't afford to pay the elite wages, I'll ask you this: would Alexis be asking for those kinds of wages if he was competing for and/or winning big trophies?

If we can't convince Alexis Sanchez that we're an elite club, we can't convince anyone. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is.

What is Sanchez asking for? 400k? Sell Walcott, and we were ready to give up to 250 k anyway.... that's all the money needed. We can afford it, we don't want to....
