Probably because of the apparent training ground and dressing room clashes in the past (remember the story of Sanchez walking out of training and Koscielny and Ramsey confronting him last year?)

Sanchez has likely made it clear numerous times that the majority of them are shit.

Yeah.

Surprised at the lack of activity from Ozil and Cazorla tho - especially as they wished Theo all the best.

Not everything has to be public and for all you know they text him or spoke to him in person.

Watching his debut for United, pretty much how it was with Arsenal. United awful overall, but Sanchez running things.
Just got an assist.

People dont realize how players contracts works, they are pro and management must be professional too, but that is not the case here.. so:

Sanchez agreed to earn 130.000 p/w in his contract, less than what they offered in Juventus.
after a year, year and half..(still 3,5 or 3 in their pocket) management should have approached with 180.000 and an extension for 1 or 2 years... after 2 more years, a new renovation for 230-250.000 ... so, always there will be 3 years of running contract in case that the player doesnt want to renovate.

The problem? .. Arsenal approached to ask for an extension after 2,5 years, with just 1,5 years still running in the actual contract... why? avarice, they had a player who worth 250.000 working just for 130.000, so they could save 2-3 millions in wages.

Messi renovate his contract almost every year
Ronaldo is upset because RM still didnt renovate his contract that ends in 2021... in 2,5 years (and that is the sign that RM doesnt want him anymore)

with 1,5 years of contract, no sign that they want to put together an elite team .. and the lack of ambition of management and players around him, it is normal that Alexis asked to be sold in the next summer..... and he did it, but again was frustrated because AW always wants to pay peanuts for quality players and he wait till the last minute to force the hand of other Clubs, but this time didnt work and Alexis was keeped in the team.

This season he played in "normal" mode, 5 months of contract and people wants him to cut his legs to win ... ridiculous, all the risk of an injury is on him, and for 3 years he gave 120% of his effort, I fully understand that he is frustrated and wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Awful management of a professional team, you will never see that in RM, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern etc..

^ What I've been saying for a while now.

Hazard renews his contract almost every other year.

When we signed Ozil in 2013, we paid him £140k a week, which was fine then. Fast forward 2015, we should have offered him an extension worth £200k a week.

Same with Alexis. We should have offered him £200k at the end of 2015/early 2016.

As Lex said, players are professionals. We are an organization. We didn't negotiate their contracts because we knew, as soon as the topic would be raised, we'd have to pay them closer to £200k a week. It was an act out of our penny-pinching habit.

Arsenal management and board are too laid-back, too small time, and deliberately find ways of dragging us into a rut.

We've brewed a small-time mentality at the club, passive and reactive, accepting our place as a second-tier club in England - let alone Europe. At least in today's environment.

But professional courtesy says that you should if it is amicable. However as by that omission it is not. Thus I see him in my opinion as another Cashley Cole and a dog molester.

and Mou have some reasons..

Lets say that in the actual market and with the working rate of Alexis, his price with 2-3 years of contract, should be close to 100-140 millions and 250-350.000 p/w as wage.

to put this in context, Barcelona is paying for Coutinho 270.000 p/w and 150.000.000 as transfer price. 206.000.000 as total cost.

a) If we see the "top" cost of the transference, should be around 150.000.000 and 300.000 p/w, so... 212.400.000 total cost.
b) if we take the numbers of the lower side ... 100.000.000 and 250.000 p/w.. then the total "cost" to have Alexis in a contract for 4 years will be 152.000.000

now, with 6-5 months of contract:

c) If Mou have him .. lets say for 500.000 p/w, 35.000.000 for the transfer and a bonus of 20.000.000 going to Alexis.. 159.000.000... so still is buying him "cheap".

What I believe, is that the actual sallary of Alexis is in 350.000, Miki value is around 30 and the bonus of 20 for Alexis, so.. the real total cost is 122.800.000... that is "very cheap" in this market.

If that is not good management from Manchester United and Mou, I dont know what is.

Utd were ready to splash £100m on Griezmann in the summer but failed. Now they have a WF with 3.5 years of PL experience, for free, and have offloaded a disastrous AM to a team they haven't managed to finish above in 4 seasons.

What they got is better than free. They strengthened themselves and weakened a rival simultaneously. They've easily wasted 2x as much money as Alexis' entire contract in transfers since 2013.

Yeah I'm over him already.

To be honest, I'm more sad about Giroud leaving.

Yup. May change depending on motm performances, but im honestly going to miss giroud.

No matter what kind of abuse he got from his own fans, he always fought for the shirt to the best of his abilities, even if it wasnt up to what a club our size and style of play needed.

Generally, i really hope sanchez spends these days at that plastic club upset at being benched for the latest mega money addition or hating his new advanced wing back role.

f**k that guy.
