Always struck me as someone who can play the ST position. Surely he can do the job there
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

He played as a CF/RF in a 3-4-3 for Udinese but there is a difference between playing alongside another striker and leading the line completely on your own. I'm not saying it wouldn't work but the role as lone striker would be new to him.

Barcelona not playing him there must say something too.

I just get a Luis Suarez type of vibe from him when I see him play which is why I think he could do the job. Would be interesting to see how he does if left alone up top

They're saying "we've got Messi so we don't need any other strikers."

Sanchez has a striker? Well, I wouldn't mind at all if we got him but Wenger may play Theo as a ST and Sanchez on the right.

Playing him as a striker will all depend on how we play and our style.

Continue as we are and he'll flop. Heck, we have a big bastard upfront now and he's been shit.

Play quick, counter football and Sanchez should be fine

you play quick counter attacking football when you have the players to play it.

sanchez would add that. Tbf, I wouldnt say no. I bet hes itching to get a proper run of games.

Would be good wide. Doesn't play on the right very often though

Yes he does. Neymar plays on the left if fit and it's between him and Pedro for the right. Last season it was often Tello on the left, sometimes Sanchez, sometimes Pedro, sometimes Villa.

Talent wise I'd take him, but I just don't know where we'd play him?

When he's fit, Walcott looks to have got consistency playing RW, so why upset that. Sanchez hasn't played LW all too much in his career and you could convert him to play there but I'm sick of buying players and putting square pegs into round holes so I wouldn't want him as LW. And ST, see answer for LW.

I just think his position we are well stocked in and I don't think he would be such an amazing improvement over Theo to justify spending >£15mill on him

he'd be a better lw than pod or caz since it's more his position.
