Starmand can chip in at any time but I'd guess Theo's scoring tally is around or exceeds the likes of Pires,

Walcott has scored 107 goals in 12 seasons for us, Pires scored 84 goals in 6 seasons.

Gets worse Pires 84 in 189 versus Walnut 107 in 388 .... how is that in anyway "around or exceeds the likes of Pires" it's not even feckin' close, Pires was in a totally different class to Walnut .....

Joke ting. How anyone can claim Theo is comparable to any one of our top players is a piss take. Even Ready Freddie (Ljungberg) is comparable to Theo (46 goals in 216 appearances) and he was a right midfielder - not a forward or a winger !

lumme some freddie...

Something Arsene made up in his head to make him sleep better at night.

There is no such thing.

Social contract has as much substance as "he's like a new signing" or "I do my best for this club", or "This team has great mental strength" or "We are a big club".

Members at GW have a social contract with Trina, therefore they will not troll, therefore we do not need mods

Sanchez, though, will inevitably be in the spotlight next weekend when Arsenal visit City. Arsene Wenger’s 801st league match promises to be even more challenging than Saturday’s 800th, but he believes he can count on Sanchez, even though City are expected to move for him again, either in January or when his contract expires in summer. He is not worried Sanchez might have divided loyalties in a match between his present and – in all probability – future clubs.

“No, I am not concerned,” he said. “Because I am not suspicious of the performances or the desire to win of a football player. When you are a football player, you have a social contract with the rest of the team and I never question that. Once you don’t respect that, it’s difficult to say that you play football.”

He's talking about Alexis' moral obligation towards the game, his teammates, and his current team. It does look like Alexis will be heading up North. The question is when.

Just offer him a hefty deal ffs. These money-hungry morons probably wank off to objective metrics in board meetings.

I can't believe that we haven't negotiated with Ozil and Alexis since January.

With Sanchez summer departure a certainty, he'll obviously need replacing.

Realistic targets:

N. Fekir (Lyon)
J. Draxler (PSG)
M. Reus (BVB)
T. Lemar (Monaco)
R. Mahrez (Leicester)
Y. Carrasco (Atlético)
E. Forsberg (RB Leipzig)
H. Lozano (PSV)
D. Mertens (Napoli)
L. Moura (PSG)

Who would you take?

In this order for me
1. Carrasco
2. Forsberg
3. Lemar
4. Draxler
5. Fekir
6. Mertens (just because of his age. If he were younger, he'd be my number one)
7. Lozano
8. Moura
9. Mahrez
10. Reus (because of injuries obviously)

Carrasco and Lemar i like, very skillful, Mahrez is too late i think, he`ll start to downgrade soon.Would have been good addition past seasons.
There are other good players too, you just have to recognize their skills and abilities.
And most important, the team has to be attractive, wich Arsenal STILL is, but not forever, if no results.
