He's a hard-working player but is also incredibly selfish. It often looked like he was doing more than he actually was.

30 goals and 15 assists means he was doing his job and that of at least 2 other players.

No he's not, even Welbeck and Ramsey have more.

Giroud also 1 behind so guess he is amazing as well. Btw Lacazette is our top scorer but still gets slagged to shit :dontknow:

“I messaged him (Wenger),” Sanchez said, after United’s victory against Spurs. “I thanked him for what he did for me and it’s sad because he is a legend in the history of football, he is a gentleman and a great coach. He taught me about respect. I can only say kind words about him. He taught me a lot. He is a gentleman.”

Going by Alexis' body language it looks like he couldn't wait to leave as the journalist was shooting questions at him re Wenger. Here is the interview -

Generic/standard answers, the attempt to walk away early, the perpetual sighing.

Yeah, from this vid, it looks like he couldn't give a damn.

Alexis always comes off as a cold figure. Strange bloke.

What a terrible season, both for us and United. Any idea what happened? At times he has been Rooney level of bad on the pitch, for both teams.

He can salvage this season in a way if he smashes the FA Cup final and wins it for them but overall his drop off this season has been unbelievable when you consider his level the previous 3 years.

Motivation gone, both having had to stay at us and Chile missing the WC.

He'll be back next year I think as he has to prove himself for United. Jose's tactics don't help mind.

He has been a MASSIVE flop at Man U so far especially when you consider the wages he is on.

Hopefully he’ll be even worse next season.

This and martial pushes for a move before WC so they've only got him to play but he's started his downward spiral

Not sure about that ... obviously having left us he was in bits probably mentally and physically ... but from the end of March, that's from Swansea onward ... he played in 7 games, scored 2 goals, had 3 assists, had 3 MoM's and an OPTA score of almost 8 ... that's right back on form ...

FA Cup final is his big stage .... MoM v Spurs in the semi .... Let's hope he fecks up, we owe him no best wishes, but I can see Utd ripping Chelsea a new one with Alexis pulling the strings ....

EDIT - Just realized he will have his first Summer off in four years as well ... expect to see Alexis 2.0 for next season ...

I think he's turned himself into a one trick pony, forever cutting back inside onto his right foot and most defences can see that coming now.
