Ronaldinho

Postby StLGooner » Wed Sep 26, 2007 4:21 pm

A friend told me about this last night, I heard that Chelsea tried to sign him during the transfer season. But I was just wondering if there are any confirmed reports coming out of London that I may not have heard. And what are everyones thoughts on him possibly joining Chelsea? How much better could it make them?

There was a rumor off it happening
He hasn't been the same since the champions league final when him & Henry had all the spotlight on them
I've seen him play twice (once for Barca & Brazil) & sadly the media spotlight must off got to him all the sudden & he hasn't impressed me at all
I like the fact though that one of the best players has the same birthday as me :p

He's going to get roughed up if he comes to the EPL.

Personally I don't think he is past his best at all.

Put it this way, if Wenger said he was thinking about signing Ronaldinho would you say no thanks?

At £50m i'd say jog on mate i wouldn't spend anything over £20m for him

yea we know Wenger wouldn't spend 50 mill on him, nor would I want him to. I wouldn't pay more than 30. But having said all that we don't need him.

I think he's much more of a midfielder, he ain't the best goal scorer.

Making accusations about Wayne Bridge isn't really fair. ;)

I WOULDNT WANT HIM

OUR TEAM DONT PLAY WELL WITH A SUPERSTAR, AT THE MOMENT EVERY PLAYER FEELS EQUAL,THATS WHY WE ARE PLAYING SO WELL AS THERE IS NO JEALOSY
IF WE HAD HIM ON 200 GRAND A WEEK IT WOULD ALL GO WRONG
