Arsenal can confirm that they have agreed terms for Samir Nasri to move to Manchester City.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who has spent three years with the Gunners, has been omitted from Arsenal's squad which flies to Udinese this afternoon and instead will travel north for a medical.

The move will be subject to Nasri passing a medical and formal registration processes.

Another big name left because the board wouldn't allow us to pay bigger wages.. things are not going to change unless the board will change the old wages structure.

Pretty sure we offered him at least 2 new contracts with one reportedly offering him £110,000 a week which is what he wanted at the begininng of negotitations.

I don't think he left for money, reports were the he wanted to go to Utd (on lower wages) before City. I think he left cause he knows where our team is heading.

Nasri wanted the club to match his ambitions in the transfer market. He left it as late as he could to see if Wenger's promises materialised - they didn't!

That is what I honestly believe happened. People thinking the money will be reinvested are kidding themselves!
