Only one club let's it's best players go at a 40 million discount ... now who could that be?

You think Kane is worth 140 mil at his age?

If his goals bring success by way of winning league titles and other honours over the next three or four years then the money it's a bargain.

Yes, but he's no spring chicken now and it could be a gamble. I think Spurs are just trying to price him out of the market so that he has to stay there.

That's not going to happen.

In my opinion this is a PR move by Levy. He's been pilloried by the fans recently for not spending enough money and so on. They have even said they don't blame Kane for wanting to leave. So Levy is deliberately slowing down the process of transferring Kane to Man City and has forced Kane's hand to not turn up for training. If the reaction by spuds fans on social media is anything to go by they are now turning on Kane and supporting Levy. Job done.

But he will eventually sell him. A compromise will be reached - but not until right near the end of the window. That of course presents the very interesting point of whether Kane plays for Tottenham between now and then - and of particular interest is the opening game against Man City on 15th August.

That could be tasty.

Is there some messy reason, or is Spurs the love of 'Arry's life?

Once his move was never happening he mends the fences - that's what happens when players have proper contracts - Spurs will get another year and 40 goals/assists from Kane then sell him for 100m .... we might get 15 G/A's from our strikers who will then leave on a free.

Levy's a **** and most Spurs fans hate him - but he sure as shit knows how to manage the finances ....

This is what happens when you have a chairman with a backbone. Either you get a ridiculously high fee or you keep your best players.

I think he'll go to PSG and Lewandowski will go to City.

Levy has done the sums.

The fee he was looking for would probably cover them not being in the CL for a season or two if Kane left.

Don't think Ronaldo is going to want to share the spotlight with Messi. That would be waste for PSG as well. Pochettino may as well step down because he would have zero authority in that team.

I'm pretty certain he'll be announced for City next week.

Go on

Make a cup of tea and sit back and have a little read

It’s always fun. The “Second Division Winners” bit is my favourite
