There we have it, United won the FA cup and what did we win = FA the only ones who benefited from our season were the bean counters, would I rather have the FA Cup than second place, feck yes.

And, they wouldn't lose one game in the run-in. :BangHead:

We cannot become so allergic to trophies again. This isn't the transition era post-Highbury.

ETH and Conte the only PL managers to get sacked after 2 seasons while winning trophies in both.

Can't believe some wanted City to win today so we "qualify" for another useless Comm Shield game.

City lost today because they took utd lightly got on the piss and had the week off.
Glad they didn't complete the double two years on the trot.
Cheats already handed every record.
Probably go undefeated next season

Today showed Man City were vulnerable this season, but even with that in mind we couldn’t beat them to the title.

Real put them away in the CL and Man U beat them in the cup bit we couldn’t get over the line.

I still go back to the away game at the Etihad, those are the games Champions go an win when securing titles,. that’s exactly what we did under Wenger, statement wins that boost belief abd demoralise the opposition.

Jesus had the chances in that match, we probably win it with a clinical striker.
