Divers should be punished

Postby DaveVL » Thu Oct 08, 2009 9:51 pm

Jack Warner said into an interview
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/oct/08/football-diving-sin-bin-jack-warner
People who dive should go into a penalty box for 5 mins like they do in icehockey
What do you think about that

What about when the ref thinks its a dive and its not?

Surley a team playing with 10 men when it does not diserve to is just as bigger injustice as a team been punished by a penaulty that never was

A sin bin would be stupid. Said team will just put 10 men behind the ball for 10 minutes until the player came back on. Would ruin the flow of the game.

Stupid idea.
Sin bins, 88 refs, how many more stupid ideas will they come up with before they eventually give in to the only real solution which is video technology.

This is the best way! Maybe not 88 but I'm deffo up for having linesmen on each side (not just running half pitch, so 4 altogether). People behind the line etc.. Nothing to stop the flow but more people to help the ref in impossible angles and even linesmen when they are looking at the other side!

They are trying that one in the Europa Cup. I'll be interested to see the end results.

Just leave football alone. Human error is a part of every sport in the world, nobody is ever going to make them perfect. How about a transfer cap, that will help football.

for me we all love the sport and places like this are here because we love the sport, we love to debate each game and wrong decisions are part of that for me and part of what i enjoy.

People moaned about offsides not been fair so they tried to fix it and look at what we now have its 10 x worse than ever before.

Video refs every one asks for how long before ever decision goes to them it would brake up play and would probebly hurt a team like arsenal more than anyone.
