Would be great if they went down.

That's a bit harsh and a huge generalisation. I have met some great Geordies both in and out of toon land.

So have I, shame on you Phil for that who rattled your cage today.

Burnley
Newcastle
Leeds

Would be my ideal 3. Don't mind too much if Newc survive and Watford go instead.

To be fair, only Trippier has done brilliantly individually. Guimares hasn't played and the other new players have done ok, but not really exceptional. The older players like Manquilo, Joelinton etc have been great though. They have really boosted the club' spirit. Just look at their crowd. They didn't look this lively for years.

I would thnk they are now better than the teams around them. their job is just to stay in the PL.

No hate against Newcastle but it would be hilarious if they go down
Same for Everton. It would be sad for the fans, I dont have anything against them, but it would be funny lol. imagine that.
Everton and Newcastle trying to get back in the Premier League lol

Apart from that, the only team I ever wished for to go down, has gone down and STAYED down, which was Stoke City.
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @14-04-'24 = 0 - 2 Aston Villa
Next game @4-05-'24 = VS Bournemouth [ No ticket yet ]

Yeah my experience of Geordies is also very positive, so much so that they were my ‘second’ team. Not now though. Think Burnley would be my preference for relegation.

I dont like all this scared mentallity wanting Newcastle to go down because they will eventually turn into Man City.

This is exactly whats lead us into such mediocraty. I want them to stay up now. They arent a joke or meme team like 2008-2016 and even when they did go down they just bounced right back the first season of asking. If they did go down which seems unlikely now they could come back with serious momentum in 2023-24 by destroying the Championship anyway and go straight into the top 6-8. The maximum they will acheive in the next two season is top 6 by 2013/2024 that team needs a LOT of work even with the money. It took Man City 3 seasons to break top 4 btw.

Burnley, Norwich and Watford are my three i want to see gone. Burnley been here long enough and im bored of their brexit football now. Norwich and Watford are sadly nothing but yoyo feeder clubs.

I like Leeds and Everton to stay up as the more historically big teams with large fanbases is always better for the league.

Beating Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle for example feels much better than beating Brentford and Brighton for example as these will always been smaller sides who will bounce between the upper championship and lower premier league. Those other three have huge fanbases which is always fun to go away or beat them at our place.
