They had to do something. At least we got one match postponed which I'm sure we would have lost if we had played it then.

They haven't gone far enough in my opinion. What they're basically saying is that if four of your players are ill then you can get a game postponed. What's the difference between covid19 and some other illness like flu or gastroenteritis? Both can be extremely debilitating and contagious.

What they should have done was scrapped this rule around younger players needing to have numbers of games under their belt before they count as a 'player', and just put the onus on clubs to find the players from within their club to fulfil every fixture. No excuses unless the circumstances are extreme.

25 in the first team squad and 25 in the reserves. If you can't find 12 outfield players and a goalie from that lot you must be in serious shit.
