There’s a certain irony to this, we’ve been told countless times about the bias against Southern teams yet the allegations against this ref circle around Liverpool.

Apparently this was a private conversation, on Talksport they took the view that as a ref you get a lot of hate from fans and that also if someone doesn’t get on with a manager they may have a few choice words to say (rightly or wrongly) but that this does not in itself manifest itself in bias when refereeing.

Also people make mistakes, it’s part and parcel of being a human being, in addition opinion does not stop you doing your job properly.
