And just quietly imagine how angry Roy Keane is right now

Yeah. Yeah that's right. Oh yeah

It's been a highly entertaining saga. Apparently ETH was arrogant enough to not even have a call with Ragnick when he arrived; Ralf was supposed to brief him on the state of the squad before leaving Utd and joining the Austrian NT. There is also the feeling that Ralf was actually sacked by Utd before the decision to take the Austria job was public, so ETH didn't involve him at all.

Now, ETH's staff seem to be telling the press unofficially that Utd screwed him with lack of transfer activity; they're suspected to have leaked the news about Utd in for Arnautovic. And just today, the Mirror is reporting the club's side of the story, which is that ETH has fixated on signing de Jong, and in doing so has held up other transfer activity. TBH, ETH does seem obssessed with Eredeivisie players. He tried to sign Jurrien Timber and Antony for big money and failed. Only Lisandro Martinez and Malaccia joined, and the former seems incredibly unsuited for the PL. Thank Christ Utd overbid for him.

That is hilarious. What a lovely mess. That is an example of a rudderless club with no direction. Not only did they waste time last season, it looks like they have appointed a manager they don't trust and wants new signings. How did they end up in such a mess? Surely, the new manager would have been breifed before the appointment? Shocking stuff wnd may it continue on

That and paying an obviously inflated price for Lukaku

Also, I think it goes all the way back to sacking Moyes with what was it, five years left on his contract. They should have given him more time.

That's Utd done for the season. Another couple of losses and they'll sack him for Poch. But they can't do anything about their terrible transfer business so Poch will also be fighting for midtable at best.

Hopefully sacked after that

Knowing us though, they'll beat us

We've got Bournemouth away, Fulham at home, Villa at home, then ManUre away.

They have Liverpool at home, Southampton away, Leicester away and then us.
