Good news of true, but then again Spurs might postpone it until he is fit.

Conte looks thoroughly f***ked off.

He has that look that says, "How the hell have I ended up here?"

When asked whether he could assure the supporters about his future, Conte said: “Honestly I like to live in the present and not to think a lot of the future. Now it is important to live in the present, to try in the present to improve the situation and get out the best of my players.

To work to improve the situation because the present is now, the future is later. Later could be too much later for us. We have to be focused on the present and work to try to improve the situation now. Then I will see.

And when pressed on being reluctant to give assurances, he added: “As you know I signed a contract for the end of the season and one year more.

But I repeat, I am enjoying my time at Tottenham and I have a good relationship with the people in Tottenham, with our chairman, with our general director. I want to work and improve this team. We have to be focused on the present to try to improve the situation.”

“But I don’t lose my ambition, and this must be very clear. To everyone. I like to fight for something important. I like to fight and to be competitive."

In other words, if I don't believe very soon that this club is as ambitious as me, I'm off.

We should be ready to swoop. We can always spend more than Spurs, and despite our flops, we do better with big £££ signings than Spurs ever have.

He's going to be a right miserable Conte.

Traore not going to Spurs is the best news of the window.

Be honest if you could go to Liverpool, recent CL winners and PL winners, or Spurs, which would you choose?

And with his staff. That's his assistant Costantino Coratti he's arguing with.

We have to be all over him in the summer. I cannot believe Levy gave him a £20m contract yet is treating him like every other manager re: transfers.

Seriously, if we have no Europe next year, Top 4 would be completely doable with Conte.
