These stats ignore two things, which are vital.
1) the performance of senior players - if the senior players are doing the business, younger players will be blooded more slowly. If the senior players are not doing the business, then more chances should arise for younger players to break through.
2) this is minutes, not the number of players. Bringing in one youngster as a starter playing every week is c9% of the available minutes of play. You could have one team that have given minutes to several for development but not yet made them a starter week in week out.
You have to assess on individual teams.
What is the need based on the senior players and given that, how much time is being given to younger players - and is it enough.
