Pellegrini wasn't exactly top tier but knew his limitations and got the squad players playing as a team without all the shenanigans of Guardiola

Pellegrini was also all class.

Even after knowing he would be replaced he did what he could professionally. No question class guy.

I respect Pellegrini not just for winning the league in his first year, but also as you said, handling the news of his replacing with integrity.

Most of all, he kept his promise to Caballero and motivated him to become an excellent 2nd choice keeper; his saves basically won City the League Cup. Given how much of a disaster Bravo was the following season, Pep also relied on Cabby to get them enough points for a CL place.

Only signing left after this is to wrap up the refs association renewal and a few half hour slots on goals on Sunday to influence everyone into thinking man u are being targeted if they start getting too many offside calls go against them.

Everton are preparing a £50m package for Gylfi Sigurdsson. Koeman has told the Everton board that the player can clinch Champions League football for the club.

It sounds like Koeman needs to go through medical.

Although right now they will probably be fighting us for that 4th spot.

They are stronger this year significantly!

Siggy would be a great signing tbf. I reckon their mix of youngsters, performers from last season and signings will work together pretty well.

Also, them having to play to lukaku all the time Is no more so now a lot of good players will be liberated and be able to impose their own game.

They're going to take a few top 6 scalps for sure. Rooney wonder goal v us defo incoming.
