so its not offside.

That's what I saw as well.
Paused it on Sky + and rewound it many times but from every angle it appears to come off of Djourou's head/shoulder and hit the 'keeper's fist.

Random fact...

Of Van Persie's four goals in the FA cup so far this season, one was a header, and the other three were all with his right foot.

It was offside, well off infact. All this it touched the keepers glove on the way through nonsence is well nonsence. He was in the offside potition when Djourou header it onto the keepers glove, it hitting the keepers glove does not make that second phase. Seriously though nice bit of luck and glad we scored but let's not be loon balls about it and say it was on.

And Bendtner did well to fight for the ball but he did get extremely lucky. Completely unselfish play by Arshavin to cut it back for The Pers though, did it a couple of times last night.

I thought that any contact by one of their players prevents it from being offside?
It's only offside if it comes off one of our players, even though Gallas was well off before the ball hit the keeper.
He's only well off if we pass to him.

Ok then let me paint you a picture, we're playing the scum next. It's 1-1 and Fat Frank plays the ball through to Drogba who is in an offside position. When the ball is played in there is a deflection taken off Clichy's ear. Screaming for the flag to go up when Drogba pokes it in aren't you?

It doesn't matter if the keeper touches it or not as it is still offside as it is the same phase. Unless the ball went out came in again then it would have been second phase and counted but from the free kick to ball in net is one phase.

Who cares if it was offside or not? I don't. What about all those occasions, around this time last season, in fact, when we were f**ked over by crap decisions? The games with Birmingham, Boro, Chelsea and all three games with Liverpool saw us getting screwed by bad officiating. I'm not going to complain if things are rolling our way now. Anyway, Hull can have no complaints since they tried to kill the game after scoring with time-wasting tactics. As for Phil Brown, he was Allardyce's assistant at Bolton, so he'll say anything to get at Arsenal.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run
