I dont want Andrey to make his debut. Sounds risky. Id much rather want to see him make a debut at home :D

Trying not to laugh at Spurs wrote:
Wenger - Big-spending Spurs are fine with me

By Richard Clarke

Arsène Wenger has backed Tottenham’s big spending during the transfer window.

In January, Harry Redknapp shelled out a reported £48 million, more than any other club. He brought back Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and Pascal Chimbonda to White Hart Lane meanwhile Wilson Palacios arrived from Wigan and Carlo Cudicini crossed the capital on a free transfer.

Reportedly, Tottenham and Manchester City combined spent £95m of the total Premier League outlay, some £160m. Despite splashing major cash on Andrey Arshavin, Wenger is famous for frugality. However ahead of Sunday’s North London derby, the Arsenal manager suggested Tottenham’s transfer policy was sensible given their parlous position on the table.

“They have made a big investment,” said Wenger at Friday’s press conference. “Every Premier League team which is struggling has a decision to make at Christmas - do we spend the money, take a bit of a financial gamble to stay in the Premier League or not?.”

“They have certainly made the decision that to stay in the Premier League they need to strengthen their squad. That is what they did and that is respectable.

“However I must say it is a very sensitive subject for me to talk about that today. I leave them freedom to do what they want.

Are we not going to get any concrete squad news till Sunday then?

I'd be chuffed to pieces for Dudu's return on Sun. The gradual return of players throughout the rest of the season is definitely going to provide some cheer.

first of all with the spurts buying back ex players i am wondering when they are going to bring back Hoddle and Greavsie.
and also spare a thought for me my local is called the White Hart which is going to be full of Spurts fans and my 2 Spurts mates and just the 3 of us gooners.. last time we was there was the Carling semi final and i left after the 3rd goal which my spurts mate hasn't forgiven me for.

This game could go one of two ways. Either we will get a close win 2-1, 3-1 or something or spurs will wipe the floor with us. As ive said in previous posts our performance counts on our metality, and who wants it more. I hope im proved wrong and we trounce them 3-0, 4-0 but i doubt it will be that simple with master tactician harry, at their helm.

Id love to see eduardo in the last half hour if needed. Its been a long road to recovery and i hope he plays well. I think Arshy should be left till a home game also. If we risk him without fitness and he has a stinker it could have a negative affect on his future performances.

We're not going to murder anyone with an injured player in midfield.
Diaby is out for a few weeks and Vela is not ready to start yet.

The midfield will be:
Nasri Song Denilson Eboue

There are no other options apart from using Ramsey and I doubt that will happen.

I saw that you are ill, that really sucks.
Hope you get better soon!

Now the line-up:

Almunia

Sagna-Touré-Djourou-Clichy

Nasri-Song-Denilson-Eboué (I still hope for Arshavin)

Ade-Rvp

This will be the line up.

Almunia

Sagna-Toure-Djourou-Clichy

Eboue-Denilson-Song-Nasri

RVP-Adebayor

Blatantly obvious it will be this seeing as we have virtually NIL other options, AW really should have bought in another midfielder :disgust:

Hmmm, Vela or RVP?

The guy who's on red hot form for us right now, keep him in the team? Puzzler

I like Vela, he's a good prospect, but come on!
