3 points

Eboue is getting so frustrating though, he has some of the nicest touches, but gives the ball away frequently and floats way out of position. Bendtner looked good when he came on, should have had 2.

Almost right with my guess !
Samir and Ade to score.

Thanks on informing us on the HDFootball4free.Blogspot web site

Fair play to bendy i really think he changed the game today even though the tit cost me money by hitting the post when we had a bet on 4-1.

Would've been happier though if Stoke and Bolton had managed to hold on... :shifty:

But what kind of implications does this put on transfers? We still desperately need reinforcements, if RVP had not played today, we may not have won, he provided all 3 assists.

I hope AW doesn't abandon transfers just because of this win today...

I seriously doubt it if he will, we were shocking in midfield today.

Agreed, Denilson and Diaby just do not work, Samir was ok but nothing stood out apart from his goal and Eboue was just...well he was just Eboue, nice touches etc but still lost the ball too much.

I thought he looked sharp today, good first touch, accurate and useful passing, closed players down - he could put Eboue out of a job soon!
He's obviously growing in confidence gradually.
Looked more like the Bendy of last season today.

I think it's more Diaby than Denilson tbh.
He seems far more comfortable as an SS in a 4-5-1.

Eboue didn't have a great game today. He got forward well and got himself into dangerous areas but gave the ball away at least 5 times and fluffed his chance in the box.
Still not back to his 'best' yet sadly.

A good three points today which keeps our momentum going. Praying that pool draw on Monday.

Now looking forward to our match with Cardiff. Anyone think Ramsey will start?

Agree with that. Eboue's attempts at crossing were woeful though. I'd have taken him off sooner.

What a finish by Nasri though

I didn't see the game, was it a penalty?

If it was us I'd have been shouting for it.

Another great result! :arse fan:

Still need midfield help - Denilson/Diaby are barely getting it done. Against better teams, we may be in trouble. Eboue started losing the plot later in the game, he needed to come off. Sad, but he hasn't been the same since 'that' day. Nasri was solid, but not spectacular - great finish though!

Bendtner continues to make me look bad - but I'll take it every time :) . I don't like his touch and passing, but he sure has proven he has a nose for the goal. Great strikes both, should have had 2!

All three assists to RVP! He is going to knock in a free kick soon - how many posts has he hit already? Needs to fine tune that lethal foot of his - then just feed him :P . Ade pulls himself out of position too much, but he played well for the most part, nice header for the first.

Clichy had one of his poorer games - thankfully it doesn't happen too often. Again, he gives the winger too much space at times. The deflection on the cross was just bad luck, but he gave him too much space to begin with. Toure and Sagna were solid. Djourou played ok, but was shaky a few times. Could have cost us if the ref decides that was a penalty - I admit, it was suspect.

Gotta love Hull's spirit though, I think they deserve to stay up.

I agree about Eboue, I think that booing affected him more than he lets on.
Yes RVP is on fire and in some ways he's dragging us through some pretty terrible performances.
If he got injured now we'd be absolutely f***ked.
On the penalty - in some ways it would've been harsh because DJ never took his eyes off the ball. He's also very unlikely to headbutt someone to stop them from scoring.
Having said that I can't argue with people who say if it was outside the box it would've been a free kick.
