Portsmouth are out of sorts and out of form. That makes this one an even bigger banana skin. I expect Adams will rally the troops, and they will come at us all guns blazing!

There isn't really any reason why we can't pick up all three points, but it isn't going to be easy, nor do I think it will be pretty!

Pompey are a fave team of mine now they have TA managing them and i really want him to do well and be a good manager (perhaps eventually replace Wenger...) but we do need to beat them today.

Who knows what Arsenal will turn up though? Am sure Wenger gave them a right rollocking after Villa but then he must have done that after some of our other disastorous matches (against Hull etc) and it didn't seem to work very well... We are perfectly capable of winning this but whether we will is another thing....

Well, Gigi, AW said we've improved over the last 2 months so he'll expect a good reaction from them after the Villa match.

Do you think we have improved Gza? Other then beating Chelsea and Man.U i don't think we have particuarly - we're sliding further down the table - not going up it! Our style of football is possibly more suited to playing top teams then scrappy teams like Bolton, Wigan etc which may be why we have had good wins over top teams recently so the press have raved but i don't agree with Wenger if he said that...
