When will Eduardo be back??

Plays his first reserve match Tuesday...

They're saying probably 6 weeks yet though till he's fully match fit and ready to go. Could be sooner could be later though. Just depends how fast he gets his match fitness back.

Back for the West Ham game :sneaky2:

He plays a reserve game on Tuesday, and Wenger says about six weeks or so if he comes through ok.

Exactly! It's not as though they haven't proven themselves, because they have. And moreover on a grander scale in The Champions League!

Thing is, he is resisting because of the possibility of burn out. We can't heap too much pressure on these youngsters, but the flip side of the coin clearly shows they are ready, and willing to impress. Willing and capable of doing something. More than capable in fact!

Mers said it on Soccer Saturday today, he said you want to bring in your youngsters when things are going well, you don't want to put too much pressure on them.
Right now would not be a good time to do so. Hence AW's reluctance to play even Ramsey, Vela or Wilshere from the start.

Mate, we need thebish's Bolton to do us a favour against Aston Vanilla, forget the Scouse. The Wanderers have been on a good run apart from the Chavski result.

I would prefer a draw with the Hull Liverpool game. If Hull win it means they are one point behind us.

And.....?
No disrespect to Hull but, c'mon they'll drop off in the New Year. AV are the team to watch over our shoulders.

But we've been saying that for months and about Liverpool too. The only team that seems to be falling is us.

But Trina you can't possibly put the Scouse and Hull in the same category :confused2:

Not at all, but they have both been consistent, we haven't.

There's still a long time to go yet in the season though, I would just prefer for clubs not to be so close to our backside.

And that's the key bit. We still have what could prove to be effectively a new signing, in the return of Eduardo. Christmas will see a lot of teams drop points, it always happens. We need a bit of consistency through this period, and hope the rest slip, then who knows what will happen!

We were screaming for some width today, and he brings Nick on, one of the slowest least skilled players on the team. Denilson and Diaby just aren't wing players, it will be tough to win with them on the wings.

well we miss theo so much, he created space for the whole team as defences were drawn in fear to him getting tight to his runs meaning space is left for the midfield, plus he gives us great width drives to the byline and can make something from nothing. but of course we all know this.

Like I said when Theo got injured, time to call Traore back.

He'd give us some width and some pace.
