Not to worry eh, gunn. Second place and possible meetings with either Juve, Barca or Bayern to name a few. Who gives a sh*t. With our boys we'll beat anyone.

I don't mind finishing second mate, you have to beat the best to win this competition, i don't give two shits when we play em! In fact i find it better to beat the best straight away, i just want to end this game on a high and boost us for the Premiership.

Diaby and Ramsey off, Wilshere and Gibbs on and into a 4-4-2 formation.

That's the whole point, to be the best, you have to beat the rest, We either face them next round or the round after, so what does it matter? At some point we are going to have to play them!

If we are to win this at long long last, we have to get past these teams.

That said, a bit of a confidence boost tonight wouldn't go amiss!

I must say this is looking embarrassing. Forget the midfield, who don't have a dickie bird, our back four which have a good blend of experience are shocking. Absolutely shocking.

Aye but if we get a team that came second(possibly a weaker team) then we have a far grater chance of progressing through the competiton.
I agree with what your saying but with the way were currently playing,I think we need any bit of advantages we can get. Dont you!

I'm not confident with this lot. And by that I mean our regulars. This is the competition I'd thought we had a fair chance of winning.

If we had a so-called lesser team and got to the QFs then by that time we would have a good chance of being much closer to full strength. At the moment it just seems academic anyway.

I think there are three players we cannot do without.
They are Cesc, RvP and Ade.
I pray they are fit and free of suspension come knockout stage.
