No it shouldn't. It should be 2-0.

He meant if we'd taken some of our chances

exactly, not a hard code to break is it, lol.

This is dire but i am still proud of the kids this year, they have been great and i see much talent coming from them in years to come.

Kudos to Burnley too, they have not feared us at all today and it has paid off.

That's a real shame because I felt that our CC team was the best it's been for a few years despite the fact that it actually had LESS first team players in it.
Just goes to show that without Song and Djourou at the back we're too easy to beat.

OK, I need to temper this response with the knowledge that the kids were out there tonight.

Having said that, that was one of the biggest piles of horse shit I have ever seen under the dubious guise of Arsenal.

I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that you will see better passing and movement on a school yard than was on display tonight. It was quite simply, eye wateringly, mind meltingly shocking. They could have completed more passes if they'd ran around for 90 minutes with their eyes shut, although I'm not convinced that's not what they were doing anyway.

Aside from the abject shambles that was midfield and attack, I lost count of the number of times Gibbs was massively out of position, which is insane, as we have all seen how good he can be.

I just can't get my head around the showing I've just witnessed. We know these kids are talented, but they weren't just on an off day. They were absolutely without any sort of redeeming feature.

Appalling just doesn't seem to be enough. And I say that with a degree of guilt, since, as I said, they are only kids. However, they are the kids that have been built up as all conquering. Maybe that's the problem.

One last observation. Fabianski just isn't up to it yet. Whether he will ever be or not, I don't know, but he's nowhere near a backup 'keeper.

Like I said, I just can't get my head around tonight, what the hell were they playing at?

I said at the start of the season GES that Fabianski worries me.
Sure he's got talent but he's not ready to be our number 2 yet.
As I said back then imagine if Almunia has a bad injury and is out for 3 months, Fabianski will be flapping all over the place for 3 months.
He couldn't catch a cold today - spilled everything.

Exactly mate.

And as for Bendtner, well, as I said before, I'm almost at a point where I feel sorry for him now. He's just absolutely woeful. Every time he got the ball, he lost it, and the chances that fell to him were embarrassingly fluffed.

So what you're saying is, Arsene has failed to buy enough players to adequately cover the first 11? Surely not. Like he'd do a thing like that...

They are OK but very few of them will make it to top flight level. With a few obvious exceptions they are just good, young players. Nothing more.

I disagree UFGN, I think you can safely say that they're better than just good.
Remember that Burnley beat Chelsea and previously Fulham.

Everyone has been saying the same thing about our youngsters for years and years. If the hype was anything like the reality, we would be world club champions. This crop are no different.
