I saw them play yesterday evening against Bordeaux, and if they do not play better against us we could really have a good chance for bringing a great result from the Bridge!! :frogwink:

Bordeaux should have earned this game!! :lipssealed: :dontknow:

On their side I think Drogba's suspended, on our side we have Nasri, Sagna and Ade back so I imagine the line up will be:

Almunia

Sagna Gallas Silvestre Clichy

Ramsey Cesc Denilson Nasri

Ade RVP

Unless Diaby is preferred to Ramsey in which case the midfield will look different. There's also a danger that we'll end up in a 4-5-1. :crybaby:

Cesc Fabregas... Spaniard not interested in a draw in West London

Fabregas - We will not sit back at Chelsea

Cesc Fabregas insists that Arsenal will go Stamford Bridge on Sunday with the sole intention of winning.

Just one win in five games has seen Arsène Wenger’s side drop 10 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea and Fabregas knows how crucial a victory in West London could be for his side.

Chelsea boast the division’s best home defensive record, with just three goals conceded in their seven outings at the Bridge, but the new Gunners captain is certain that neither side will hold back in the final third.

“Our target is to go there and win,” said Fabregas. “We need to get some points back.

“Arsenal never go for a draw and a club like Chelsea will be the same as us. Every time I have played against them they have gone forward and tried to gain victory. We will expect it will be the same on Sunday.

“They have been playing really well at home. I haven’t watched a lot of the games but the times I have seen them they have played some very, very good stuff with quick football and good combinations. I respect them a lot but will we see.”

Yes he's fit but wouldn't you rather have 4-4-2 as both Ade & RVP are fit?

At least I think he's fit...?

Agree with merlin on this....
form almost never counts in a derby...
i somehow think we'll see a 4 - 5 - 1
with extra man in the midfield to provide cover for Cesc and freeing him to push up..

to be honest know, RVP is ineffective in aot of games, and ade at the moment is not exactly on fire, they dont seem to be a striking unit

with diaby he links up and is hard to mark also allows a bit more time on the ball for the like sof cesc and nasri as they tend to get more movement between each other with 4-5-1

HOPE we go 3-2-3-2

-----------Almunia
Sagna------Gallas------Clichy

------Denilson---Song------

Diaby------Fabregas-----Nasri
-----Ade-----------------RvP

But we will go 4-4-2:

-----------Almunia
Sagna-Galass----Silvestre-Clichy

Ramsey-Fab-----Denilson-Nasri
----------------RvP---------

-------Ade----------------

9 Players? Having 11 is going to be hard enough.
