Yeah!

To be fair to him, he did everything possible to screw it up with a complete miscontrol. The ball maybe took a turn off the turf, but dare I say, a sweet finish.... :hiding:

That said, I refer to a post previously where I said he shouldn't start a game, but he somehow manages to grab headlines from the bench!

That'll do, 1-0 win and through.

Crisis...? What crisis? Champions League, and grinding out results like this when failing domestically is a hallmark in recent years.... (Well mostly :P )

What miscontrol was that?
He chested it down, kneed it to the ground to stop it bouncing and then rammed it between the keeper and the near post.
Where was the miscontrol....?

Give the guy a break for once!

He has a habit of scoring match-winning / points-saving goals that boy.

We are qualified, some good progress in the game (but could we really do worst than against City ?? :lipssealed: )...a small whiff of oxygen in this difficult times!! :frogwink:

One regreat: the goal from Gallas was apparently available... :BangHead:

We can blame it for "what he does",but this could have been a beautiful ending to this story!! ;)
