Our lack of depth was horribly exposed today.
We were missing soooo many players but we should still have played better than that.

And to make it worse Chelscum and Liverpoo have dropped points today.

you are now 10 points of the relegation zone and 10 off the top

if you lose to chelsea and other teams win you could be 7th

Man, how long until we say we are just fighting for St Totteringhams day :(

I think we must win the Carling Cup now, we need something to give these youngsters (who seem to be half our team this year) the confidence to perform on the pitch.

I am going to compose myself and then the rant gun is coming out - both barrels WILL be used.

I am a Gooner through thick and thin, but I'm sorry, this Arsenal team can go f**k off and die as far as I'm concerned :snooty:

looking forward to hearing it!

that's reality! almunia, hoyte, djourou, denilson, bendtner, song are just ordinary players! and you expect they should beat city away!? yeah right! we should lose 6/7-0!
we need to buy quality players! and don't tell me that we don't have the money!
that was arsen's project with kids and he failed!

i think that it's over with bullshit like "wenger knows" and "young guns rules"! five lost games and it's only november!!!!

arsene, take your checke book, it's shopping time!

I stand by what i said the other week. The whole lot should be booted into the reserves and the team that played so well against Wigan in the CC should be given a chance - i mean - they can't do any worse then the first team are at the moment and maybe a drop to playing in front of one man and his dog would give our smug first teamers the kick up the arse they really need?! :dontknow:

Wenger needs to buy a decent DM and captain in January - oh for Patrick Vieria right now :cloud9: - or even Gilberto...

The annoying thing is - on our day we are capable of playing better football then anyone in the league and beating the top teams. The reasons we are losing to all these normally rubbish sides are:

1. the players have a crappy attitude and
2. Not everyone is gonna sit back and let us play our fancy dan footy around them, they will rough us up and put the tackles in - and fair play to them for finding a way to stop us.

But surely Wenger can see all this - he's not stupid - so why the hell isn't he doing anything about it?! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

Like someone said, 5 defeats and its only november, thats poor.

losing against a team of city's quality shouldnt be good enough even if there was a whole week of drama leading upto the game and heads were in the wrong place.

id like to see wenger make some drastic changes for the chelsea game, cos hes in a no lose situation,

TBH - this is whats worrying me most Helen.

Previously - when its been a crappy week in terms of events off pitch and when everyone has been going on in the media about how dire we are and have written us off totally, :( the team have come back with determination and proved the doubters wrong. Other then the once against Man.U this just isn't happening this season..... Lets hope they do it nexzt week and prove me wrong cos the media situation will be even worse after this and they're not up for it against Chelsea we are well and truely stuffed.

I agree with most of that.
We shouldn't have expected to win this game with over half the team missing.

I agree with most of it too. The part about them being ordinary players is especially true but Djourou has potential i think
