Going down there to see this one :) First ever time watching Arsenal live, I can't wait.
Does anybody else find it ironic that we're raising money for Alzheimer's on remembrance day?

Woohooo! I'm going to this one to with my brother - first game of this season i have been to. Anyone else going?

Having said that, my brother and i went to the last game against Wigan in the carling cup at Highbury a few years ago and the less said about that the better... Jason Roberts scored in injury time to put us out in the semi final 2nd leg and then the Arsenal tube was closed and we had to walk miles! Didn't get home til well late...

Not sure sure if i'll be going to the game yet.
Meeting a few mates for a drink after the Armistice Parade, so may well be very, very drunk by KO time.
I think someone else will be getting my ticket......

Arsène Wenger has named his 18-man squad for tonight's Fourth Round Carling Cup tie against Wigan Athletic at Emirates Stadium.

French midfielder Amaury Bischoff is included in the squad and could make his first-team debut following his summer transfer from Werder Bremen. Bischoff impressed for the reserves last week with a stunning strike in a 2-0 victory over Fulham.

The squad is as follows...

17 Alex SONG
19 Jack WILSHERE
20 Johan DJOUROU
21 Lukasz FABIANSKI (GK)
24 Vito MANNONE (GK)
28 Amaury BISCHOFF
35 Francis COQUELIN
39 Rui FONTE
40 Kieran GIBBS
41 Gavin HOYTE
42 Henri LANSBURY
43 Fran MERIDA
46 Abu OGOGO
47 Mark RANDALL
50 Jay SIMPSON
56 Emmanuel FRIMPONG

Great to see Coquelin and Bischoff in there.

Looking at the squad list....

will they do that pre-match quiz where they shout out the first names of the players and the crowd tries to guess the Surnames??

you know..

Cesc FIBREGLASS!!
Gail (girl's name) CLICHY!!
Emmanuel ADEBARNDOOR!!

Ed WARDO!! (I kid you not!!)

except tonight - the Arsenal occasional fans won't actually know the surnames....

go on - test yourself.. (without looking!) I'll be the cheesy announcer-man...

Carlos.............
Gavin.............
Rui................
Abu...............
Henri.............

how many didja get??? :lipssealed: ;)

seriously folk - give the Wiggin a good spank for us!

Damn I was really hoping Coquelin would get a long run out. Preferably instead of Randall ( who which from i've seen of him is rather hit or miss whereas Coquelin has been a right go getter every single time I've seen him play - thats what im basing him getting ahead of Randall on by the way) .

Would have preffered to have seen Coquelin in ahead of Randall, Heard great reports on Coquelin fro res games and Randall is a waste of space..........
