Stories of Arsenal's demise have been much exaggerated. You should have seen the back pages today. If you knew nothing about football you'd have thought that Arsenal were on the verge of relegation. In retrospect, with nothing expected of us, playing Man Utd at home was actually a good fixture to have.

I feared the worst when Almunia stupidly handled the backpass in the first minute but after that, the game settled down into a typical Arsenal-Man Utd game. A lot of good moves and a lot of good chances. It had 2-2 written all over it. Man Utd thought they just had to turn up. Berbatov and Ronaldo were useless.

Nasri was fantastic. He looks a brilliant signing. In midfield we really dominated, which is strange because I don't think much of the Fabregas/Denilson combo. Our second goal was magnificent, brilliant passing and a fine shot. It's not very often that Ferdinand and Vidic will be made to look ordinary. We had to concede a late goal but I thought Gallas stepped up well today. Hopefully we've turned a corner. Obviously the squad needs reinforcement but we've cleared this massive hurdle. Let's celebrate that.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

Hahahahaha what a fantastic result hey! When that da silva geezer scored I was nervous, especially as there was a mighty 6 mins injury time (or fergie time as it is sometimes known). So happy, I don't think this smile will be wiped off my face for some time :)
Does anybody else find it ironic that we're raising money for Alzheimer's on remembrance day?

Fantastic way to walk through the door! 2-1 against The Manc, which betters last season.

Just going to find the goals, have a look, and post them here.

Got to say I am in euphoria! I got the text from Mrs SE13 just a couple of seconds after I parked the bus up. I leapt off, running around the yard punching the air.

In a moment of sarcasm, I wrote a quick "staff notice" out and left it on the staff notice board in the canteen. It simply said; "Arsenal 2-1 ManUre: Can we play you every week" :) It won't last long, but it amused me all the same.....

Congratulations lads and lasses - anyone who beats ManUre is a friend of mine!

listened to game with gigi whilst on a battery chicken rescue in the cold wet and mud (we rehomed about 500)

I still can't believe how she was cacking herself with less than 40secs to go and you being 2-1 up...

oh - did I mention we just beat Hull!!! that's two wins in a row - and i am able to watch MOTD two weeks in a row - what are the chances of that????????? ;)

Just watched the recording of the game, talk about f***ing nerve racking. Finally some luck went our way today, Man U could've had at least 3 goals, but the Gunners prevailed. BIG f***ing win for us. Hopefully the turning point of our season.
