cesc in the hole does not work.

he needs to be in the middle,on the ball making us tick

playing him there takes away 70% of what he gives us

maybe he could play there if denilson actually touched the ball in a game, and there was somebody playing up front though lol

Song should just play with Fabregas. Song gives more of a physical presence

Nice breakdown Bennis. I know Shavi will get all the glory for 4 goals but Gibbs was a f***ing beast. He was absolutely bollocksed in the last 5 minutes but he had more than acquitted himself.

What is it with us and LB? We have Clichy and now Gibbs, before that we had the c***, and before him wobbly legs Winterburn, we always seem to be loaded at that position.

Fab-7 - Good first half, looked edgy second half!
Sagna-5 - Not his usual self.
Silvestre-6 - Thought he did ok.
Toure-6 - Ok
Gibbs-7 - Bit naive positionally at times, otherwise pretty solid.
Denilson-4 - Didn't even realise he was playing!
Cesc-6 - Drifted in and out of the game too much.
Song-7 - Decent
Nasri-7 - Pretty anonymous first half, more involved second half, decent tracking back.
Shava-10 - What can I say, 4 shots 4 goals!
Bendtner -6 - Can't play as a lone striker, very lazy at times, only looked interested in last ten minutes.

Saw Wenger post game. He laughed and didnt seem at all too unhappy. Like I said its the PL, out of the race, 4th place safe etc.

I dont want Liverpool winning the league so yeah Im happy enough and can spare a laugh

I've just seen the goals.

Holy shit! Arshavin isn't human!

You see finishes like that once or twice in a match, but 4 times? From 4 attempts???

What a finisher!!! The guy is already a legend and he's only been with us a few months!

TBH i watched the post match interview when he was awarded the MOTM and he didnt come across as demoralised, think he was more astounded that he got to score 4.

Take the positives rather than the negatives, this was the match of the season. ;)

Mate, I thought the same thing about Bendtner when I saw the lineup. How many times has he been tried there and we've been frustrated?

All I can say is, THANK GOD FOR ANDREI :1990_dancing.gif:

Fab-6
Sagna-5
Silvestre-5
Toure-5
Gibbs-9
Denilson-5
Cesc-6
Song-7
Nasri-6
Shava-10(To the power 10)
Bendtner-6

For me Gibbs, Song and Arshavin carried the team.

Fabregas, Nasri and Bendtner tried but Liverpool did well to keep all three quiet.

The other (more defensive) players all had shocking games and looked like they'd never met, never mind trained together! (Sagna, Toure, Silvestre and Denilson)

Fabianski did have a good game but with those clowns in front of him was always going to struggle. Despite theis, no goalie who concedes 4 can get a rating of more than 6 IMO.

I wouldn't call it match of the season. We were absolutely shite at times in the 1st and could have been on the end of a terrible drubbing. The 2nd was different, BUT, I will bet the scouse are a lot more disappointed with the result than we are.

WTF Plymouth Gooner?

If it wasnt for Fabianski we could easily have been 3-1 down in the 1st half!!!
