fantastic game for me to attend as my first ever premier league match . amazing result , i really thought we had it when we went 4 - 3 up . the atmosphere was electric . stood at the end opposite the kop and we sung almost non stop . couldn't hear "walk on" clearly because we were singin - sign on , sign on , with a pen in your hand , coz you'll never get a job .
i nearly broke cheeseys jaw when arshavin slotted his second goal , i was jumpin up and down and flailing my arms around as cheesey went to hug me and i elbowed him straight in the mouth .
drank at the arkles before and after the game and the scousers made us feel very welcome , was probably the greatest night of my life despite the result .

Chris, the only reason you could use the underground was because you had Ashley... ;)

Liverpool was good

You mean the only reason why I was confused at first was because I had Ashley there. :hiding:

If I was by myself the whole time, I would've had it down pat the first go. ;)

Yeah women just plant that seed of doubt dont' they?

"Are you sure this is the right stop?"

"Ah f**k it let's get back on the train."

Oz's first game and he gets an 8-goal thriller.
Chris's first game and he get's a 0-0.

Life's a bitch eh Chris....?

Don't remind me, and then my 2nd game was only 1-0 on a pen. I quitely cursed Oz to myself for getting to see that. I'm sure we'll win 5-0 on Sunday too. :disgust:

Oz, I hope you have to take a piss and miss it at the time of each goal we may score on Sunday.

I'd put a bet on Arsenal to score 4 on Sunday.

Not only did Arsenal score 4 against Liverpool, they also scored 4 against Man City Youth. Oz being at both.

i think making this post was a woeful decision, Fabianski had a great first half and the deffence ias a whole were poor because some of the marking by both silvestre, toure and some of the clearing by sagna was the real issue.

hopw can fabs save a shot from like 5 ft out, no one picked him up.

truely a poor post.

He could have easily come and claimed Sagna's poor clearence for the first goal. But that is being petty. Second goal was just awful all round his poor pass to Silvestre to Gibbs etc... Why he didn't just hoof it downhill I don't know. The third he got a poor hand to it. The fourth was ridiculous from all concerned.

The game is played over 90 not 45. He was shite again.

Dunno if any of you guys use Guardian Chalkboards. Its a bloody brilliant thing. Just been using to study the Liverpool game. And wanted to see if my feelings of distrust and annoyance at Denilson has any stats to validate them...

Here's one for you. In the Liverpool game, Denilson didnt make A SINGLE tackle. NOT EVEN ONE FAILED ONE!!

That pissed me off...

That is quite shocking really - and not acceptable.

Arsene Wenger must see something though - Denilson has played more games that anyone - yes they haven't all been fantastic standout performances but the have been some - and enough for Wenger to keep him in the team.

Saw this video shared today......

Arshavin's four goals aside, I'd almost erased how stupid Fabianski's decision making was, and how amazing the ability of two to three defenders being able to lose one man is.....

Those were dark times........ shows how much we've improved since then, we haven't been this abysmal defensively even in the Bayern thrashings........

Nasri's reverse touch to Fabregas for the first goal was sexual.
